Questioning/Government
We are studying the Government this quarter in Social Studies, and working on questioning in Reading. What are some questions and/or answers you have about the government? If this is the beginning of our unit, you will probably mostly have questions. As we go through the unit, you might post some answers to questions that you have seen. Happy learning!

Comparing and Contrasting
Lately, we've been learning a lot about comparing and contrasting. We've learned how adjectives can show that someone is taller than someone else or the tallest kid in the class, just by adding a suffix. We've learned about how we can compare characters in stories. We've also learned about how a Venn Diagram works, and we'll continue to learn more and more.
Share with us the most interesting thing you've learned about comparing and contrasting so far. If you'd like, give us an example of something you have compared and contrasted (you can use your reading spiral to remind you).

How do you feel about it - nervous, excited, terrified?
What do think will be the hardest part? The easiest?
