What have you learned in the past couple of weeks about how pictures help you understand books? Tell us about a specific book that stood out to you as having really great pictures that enhanced the text.
I really liked Llama Llama Red Pajama's illustrations. I could really tell what Baby Llama and Mama Llama were feelings from the pictures, even if the text didn't go into very much detail about their emotions.
bad kitty helpt me knew that a kitty was a good kitty and that one day the kitty was a bad kitty because they rande out of food so the kitty was doing bad thing so the oner wint to the stoer and got more food then the kitty was going to be a go kitty then the oner boteg a new frinde so the good kitty was sade because she was not a frinde to the other kitty.
in mcduff comes home I thout that the picters relly stand out because there brit and coloerful and relley stand out and thats why I think it stands out.october 10,
I really think the pictures in Mandy helped me because there was alot of facel expreshon. Even though the text said descriptiv words to say shes sad I knew she was sad from the picturs.
In the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days, it's not really great pictures but it still shows emotion in my book. I could tell exactly what there feeling even though it didn't go with very much detail about their feeling.
I am reading Narnia and the pictures help me because I did not no that the girl was mad.But I looked at the pictures and I under stand now.Because if you yous your tools then it will give you hints.
