We are doing a long term project studying an author and some of that author's books. Tell us who you author is and the most interesting thing you have learned so far about that author.
I am studying Ron Roy, and I have learned that he didn't set out to start the A to Z Mystery series. He just wrote the Absent Author, then liked the characters so much he wanted to keep writing. He noticed the alliteration of Absent Author and decided it would be fun to start on a "B" book and "C" book. Then came the Bald Bandit and Canary Caper... and the rest is history!
Im studying Gertud Warner.Ive learned that she writes over hundreds of boxcar children books. She has a husband and some kids .she origanle only wrote 1 boxcar children until fans asked for more.
I have learned preaty much 1 thing about my author and that is she likes to write books about journeys. My author is Soina Levitin. I really would recomend these books. Her Books:4 stars
My author is H.N. (Holly) Kowwit, and she is the author of the Loser List and the sequel, The Loser List: Revenge of the Loser. These books are very much like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and I give the two a five star rating. The most interesting thing I've learned about my author is that she is a girl!!
I'm learning about Eve Bunting.I like how she did "The Banshee" because it was spookey and it made me feel like I was with Terry trying to fined the banshee.
One thing i've learned about that tomie de parlo that he loves old time storys all the bookes I've read it seid retold so I think that he likes thouse old time storys. and there is allways a girl maby not the main carickter but allways there is an old woman and i wonder why...
My author is a girl and her name is Judith Viost.And she writes the Alexander books.My favrite is Alexander,Who Used To Be Rich Last Sunday.I love that book because I am kind of like Alexander but not very much.
